I've decided to go to a new level in training. I'm going to try and gain weight. Just once in my life, I don't wanna be skinny. Let's see if I can become a bit of a bruiser!
If you wanna get big, you have to eat big. So I've been trying to basically double my intake of food. I've actually been eating till it makes me feel a bit sick, but 2 weeks into it and it looks like I've already put on a few kilos (I don't have scales so not sure exactly)
Apparently, it also helps to have a high level of testosterone. This is what gives us manly characteristics like deep voice, shoulders and body hair. I have about 10 hairs on my chest so I've started to take ZMA as a way to try and increase testosterone. I could also take steroids but that just seems a bit too full on. I'm not planning on being the ultimate warrior or anything! Plus I've heard huge surges in testosterone are the cause of baldness so screw that for a joke.
To give you an idea of how much I've been eating, here's what I had yesterday:
- 2 cups muesli with full cream milk
- Big handful of almonds
- 2 rolls with 5 slices of ham (about 200 grams)
- one of those 100 gram cheese selection things
- Packet of water crackers, for the cheese!
- 300g roasted mushroom and garlic salad
- Big slice of watermelon
- 2x95g tuna in freshwater cans
- 300g rump steak (blue! *drool*)
- 1/4 chicken
- 700g steamed vegetables
Of course, I don't wanna be a fat prick so I've been going to the gym like a bastard. I've got so much energy now, especially after I stopped smoking, that I should be mindful of overtraining
In completely unrelated news, I'm booked in at Oran Park to do a motorcycle skills development course! Finally going to find out if what I'm doing on the roads is safe enough or not, and get a preview of that park for the ride day that is my birthday present from the lovely Mish. Because I'm sure me crashing and burning on the day is not what she had in mind!
